“I booked a double room which was so small. It had a dreadful view over an alley and roof top. So not desirable in any way. The room had a small fan - there is no air conditioning - we roasted - it was so so hot unbearable. With two adults in such a small room with no air-conditioning terrible. What made it worse was that there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom that was permanently on which you could not turn off so the small bathroom was so hot and made the room even worse. “The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended”

“The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.”

“We didn’t like the fact that there was no one on site to talk to. We didn’t get fresh towels even though we stayed for 6 nights. The TV in the bedroom was broken and some of the cutlery was dirty. At the end of the stay we had to take all our rubbish to bins at the end of the street. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.”
