Great location and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was ok bathroom needs modernisation and attention to detail such as more loo rolls and hand soap as not enough for the duration of our stay. Would stay again if the price doesn’t increase as I think it’s high end for what you get.

I stay at the Bear for a week once a year when I’m back visiting family. Always a pleasure staying there , rooms are always spotless , parking is good and Hayley and the staff always looks after me .

Nice Hotel and Pub, bed comfortable, however carpet outdated, and a kind of noisy as its upstairs of an old pub. Views from my room were nice, to the beautiful Bear garden. Good food.

We stayed at the Bear Inn on 14th March 2026 for 2 nights. It is a very welcoming place. The atmosphere is very comforting and relaxed with helpul and friendly staff always willing to chat. In particular Hilary and Bayleigh were lovely and made our wedding anniversary special.
