“Grand old house with a drawing room for people to meet and a nice bar and patio. A fairly short walk to market square, the university and Macdonald park and the lake front. Pricey if all you want is an overnight stay, but we were there for a special occasion and felt like treating ourselves. There was confusion over our bill which did not become apparent until after we had left. However the staff, over the telephone, was very helpful in resolving that problem.
