“We checked in about 9 pm, went straight to bed as had to get up at 4 am for an early flight. But everything was good.”

“Lovely staff especially the General Manager who was very hands on at the reception and in the restaurant. We’ve had a great stay in a lovely room overlooking the river. ”

“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!”
