“very nice 2 night stay. Nice welcome and hotel very clean. some items in room a little worn and tited around the edges but didn't detract from our stay. Would have liked some healthier choices at breakfast. semi skimmed milk, better quality bread etc. Asked for boiled eggs but not available.”

“The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! There was a bath with a shower over and both were fabulous. I also loved the scent in the hair and body wash that was provided. “Ideal for our requirements, staff looked after us well. The room and en-suite was great. It was extremely hot on arrival, easily sorted by opening the windows and putting on a super electric fan which reduced the heat in minutes. ”
