“I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all ”

“Very clean and warm. Host was friendly and helpful. The shared spaces had everything needed including a log burner which was very welcome. Set in a stunning location will hopefully make it back in the summer.”

“Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. ”

“Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”

“A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. ”

“The Original Roadsman's Wagon is delightful - but it doesn't say in Expedia description the toilet and bathroom are a round trip of 600 meters away and you have to bring your own bedding, we therefor had to cut our break of 2 days into 1!”

“Ann & Norman were such amazing hosts the place was clean and super cozy we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Let’s not forget the amazing homemade produce, amazing jams and chutney choices and the Apple Juice it was so good we had to return back home with 3 bottles.”
