Ann & Norman were such amazing hosts the place was clean and super cozy we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Let’s not forget the amazing homemade produce, amazing jams and chutney choices and the Apple Juice it was so good we had to return back home with 3 bottles.

If you want quiet then this is the place.

What a great little hideaway. I was working away from home and this place was perfect to unwind after work. So peaceful and probably ate better self catering than some of the junk I have had in hotels recently.

The yurt was gorgeous and very comfortable, and the orchard and local area were beautiful. We couldn't see another human habitation for miles around! Norman and Ann were very kind and welcoming. We had a great stay - and lots of great walking routes nearby. Strongly recommended!

Highly recommend!

Friendly welcome, fantastic break away where we could relax in nature and feed the pigs! Will definitely come back again. Perfect balance of camping and luxury and we loved every minute of our stay.

Dragons Nest needed a deep clean from top to bottom. I had to clean the bath myself before I could use it. Cutlery/crockery was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Cobwebs were everywhere with dead and alive spiders. Black mould around shower tray plus to either side of the toilet. Tiles in bathroom hadn't been cleaned in months as bathroom floor. Tall lamp was the same as other lamps were dusty. Table had crumbs left on it so did kitchen worktops. Drawers to kitchen were filthy inside. Outdoor table and chairs were old and needs replacing so seat cushions so very uncomfortable. Dog hairs everywhere the owners even accused us of having a dog and asked for money they heard a dog barking maybe it were your dog as it awoke us early. The road to the place is a single track road with lots of potholes very tricky. The owners acknowledged the faults from the photos we sent them but were not willing to give us compensation only a special discount of a future stay with them, very unreasonable I wonder how they would feel having to clean a place when they had paid hard earned money?? Would not recommend Dragons Nest it was filthy and the owners are all about money. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
