“No thanks to Expedia who booked a us a family room for us when none was available- however the staff at the hotel were great and were able to find a solution for one night. Hotel is in a great spot and the staff are very accommodating.”

“First time staying at Oakover, just a walk from the beach, onsite parking and nice tea/coffee station, no skimping with loads of free teabags and milk cartons. I would book again.”

“This is NOT a hotel. You have to empty your own bins, buy your own tea/coffee and strip the sheets off the bed! This is falsely advertised, it should be clearly identified that this is self-catering air b'n'b style rooms. The room as not that clean - dirty glasses, rubbish under bed, pubes on bathroom floor and a very smelly fridge. I would not recommend or stay again.”

“Great place to say. Staff very welcoming and polite. Close to Priston Mills as we were at a wedding. Great atmosphere in the pub a band played one night. Locals were sociable. Highly recommend”

“Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”

“We had a fabulous stay. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the house was so clean and stylishly put together. The location was excellent for the main town and all the attractions. Parking is very close and reasonably priced as per the hosts video. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this remarkable town.”
