This hotel needs modernisation. I would not have been happy to be here on a very hot day. It is not very accessible. As I have arthritis I found accessing the first floor quite difficult. Breakfast was great the staff were great

Nice manor-style hotel with well equipped rooms and bathroom, excellent English-Style and other breakfast options, nice bar and outside dining areas. The rooms are old -style but confortable with an excellent price-quality ratio. The only drawback was the absence of AC during our mid-july hot summer days stay but the ventilator + opened window was OK to sleep well anyways. Also well located in the center of Yeovil for restaurants and easy parking on site all-around the many buildings. Very recommended to explore the Fleet Air Arm or Haynes museums or a day trip to the tails museum in Bovington!

Fifty days of drought, but they still have mildew in the bathroom. How can that be Green Tree? You have no excuse, though to be fair, I suspect the bathroom fan needs upgrading or cleaning, and I noticed that upstairs empty rooms had the windows closed, so sa la vie. While I'm now in the habit of bringing a bathtub safety mat with me, the bath has a rounded base, so I couldn't stand in an optimal position. Why oh why are hotel bath 3 inches above the floor level. I step out of my own shower to the same level ! Still love the place though. Food is good.

We stay here when in Yeovil visiting relatives. The Hotel is dated, and a little 'tired' . However there is always a war., cheerful welcome. The rooms are large and windows can be opened which is a big bonus in my view. We made the mistake of trying a different hotel once. Never again. The manor suits our needs and budget.
