“I had a 2night stay booked at this property over the weekend. I checked in the room , dropped my bags off and left the property. Unfortunately 30 minutes later I had to checked out after I received a phone call about an unexpected death in my family. I went back to the property and explained the situation, all the staff were pleasant and evan comforting about the situation, at the time. I was put on a call to the property manager who ensured me not worry about anything and she would contact me...

“Once located - top of hill up very steep country lanes, not too well signposted. Rooms are adequate for a single night’s stay, wouldn’t want to stay longer. Main hotel closed so have to travel down into valley for food. Breakfast was a tub of instant porridge - unimaginative.”

“The bed was quite comfortable and the duvet cover very soft. I didn't expect much as it was on the cheaper side but was positively surprised. I also like how chilled they are about check in and check out. Overall I can recommend”

“Value for money hotel. Fixtures and fittings are tired but the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value cooked breakfast for £7. Road a bit noisy. We were able to leave our car behind the building for the day which was great. If stairs are an issue/heavy luggage pays to be aware you might have a few flights of steps to climb depending on your room! Staff very helpful and friendly.”
