Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. ”

“This is a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. The views are tremendous, it’s quiet, peaceful and very relaxing but only 10 mins from anything you might need. The owners are super helpful and friendly and could not be more accommodating. The hideaway pods as perfect for a couple. Very comfortable double bed, sofa, table and chairs. “The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”

“I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. ”

“The house was very impressive because it was so clean, well decorated and very functional. Most important requirements were available plus extras such as a washing machine and tumble drier. WiFi was instant and two large TV sets had good coverage. We were there however in mid June in a heatwave. Although air conditioning would have been fantastic, the provision of a couple of small fans would have been helpful. This though would not stop my return to the property as it was really superb.”

“Property was really central to grocery stores and the riverside park. Easy to walk to so many areas of Llangollen. Property somewhat worn and needs a good paint job but wear and tear is understandable on a place that sees so many holiday makers. Great location, largish cottage with nice views from upstairs windows.”

“Absolutely loved this property. It easily accommodated 6 adults. Extremely clean, tidy and well equipped. The location was fantastic and so easy to walk into the town. We even managed to park our cars right outside the house. Would highly recommend!”
