“Serviceable pub hotel. The rooms are dated and creaky but the bathrooms were freshened a few years ago and were fine. The beds are hard, and the carpet and furniture worn. The room was clean, however, and the staff friendly. Bottom line, this isn’t a luxury stay, but for a night or two if you need to be in Marlborough, this pub hotel is acceptable and clean.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was mostly OK, but the carpet had a hole in it and didn't quite reach the edge of the room, and I'm afraid I was rather put off by a long dark hair lying on top of the white pillow when I arrived. I would have appreciated the one cup in the room being replaced with a clean one after the first night. The ensuite shower room looked good with a large walk in shower and would have benefitted from a shelf in the shower area for shower gel. Breakfast...

“Lovely bnb, right in the middle of Marlborough. Our room was very well appointed, with a small but perfectly adequate shower-room. Very good breakfast. ”

“Shower . Temperature control not working. Water temperature far too hot. Not able to turn control nob to cool down temperature Also t.v. Hand set working intermittently could be battery needs replacing Couldn’t find anyone to complain to”

“We stayed in the coach house which was ideal for us with our dog. Dinner - fish and chips was good and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were really accommodating and made us welcome. Really good atmosphere in the bar which was well populated with locals.”
