“Hotel correcto”

“The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. ”

“The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! There was a bath with a shower over and both were fabulous. I also loved the scent in the hair and body wash that was provided. “We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive.”

“What a great find .. great location . Staff amazing go above and beyond. As many places these days all needs a bit of upgrade to building and rooms BUT the comfort especially the beds !! And the friendly hard working staff more than make up for it ..we felt relaxed, welcome and valued . Especially our not so well dog skye who was truly spoilt ... This is not the first time we have stayed at a Greenking pub amd hope as a company you reward your staff .. they are amaxing .... We will be back...
