“Clean rooms, great instructions to enter the parking lot, great hot breakfast, hopefull hosts”

“Es un hotel sencillo en Gales, tiene un restaurante - pub bueno, cuarto amplio y bien iluminado y un parqueadero comodo para el carro. No hay mucho que hacer alrededor si no tienes carro. Queda mas o menos a 1 km del pueblo, en la noche el camino es muy oscuro. En general una buena estadía, el personal mas preocupado por el pub que por el hotel, pero de resto bien.”

“Room was clean, but no television in room”

“The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. “Beautiful location. Great breakfast.”

“We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A friendly welcome. We had an excellent room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was excellent, with a good menu choice. A good selection of cask beers. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We highly recommend.”

“Beautiful house gardens and surrounding.the rooms are sympathetically restored with stylish interiors.comfy bed and good shower and great breakfast”

“Great for a night or two. Good food, comfy beds and a welcoming staff.”

“A charming, 'old school', hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of stairs to help one keep fit! Excellent choice of cooked breakfasts, with tasty local ingredients.”

“Cuando hice la reserva no se me avisó de que no había servicio de restaurante ni para cenar ni desayuno.”

“it was alright”

“Lovely stay at the Bear. Food was excellent and the room clean. Staff were very helpful. Always enjoy my visit.”

“We had a very enjoyable stay. Ann & Baratt were great hosts. Good location for visiting Monmouth.”

“This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. The room I slept in was very simple with a tiny bathroom but it was clean and perfectly acceptable for the price charged (which included a full...
