“The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. “I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. “Stayed here a few times. Service didn’t feel as good as previously. Few things missing in the cabin (milk) kindling, logs. Managed to get some from staff but they weren’t replenished. Had a meal in the restaurant. Again not as nice as previously”

“Great bar food and evening spent here after a long day walking. Even had sky sports. Single Room was good for what I wanted and bathroom facilities Good. Only down was noisy floor on the corridor outside rooms on first floor which creaked with every person walking the floor. Early morning or late evening. Needs a bit of work. Saying that it was good value for money amd would use the place again as access to Wast Water and area”
