“The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. “We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there”

“Buena ubicación, vistas al mar. No te hacen la habitación, no hay secador pelo.”

“New favourite hotel, a one night stay which was perfect.”

“Todo muy bien ”

“Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem.”

“Stayed here a few times. Service didn’t feel as good as previously. Few things missing in the cabin (milk) kindling, logs. Managed to get some from staff but they weren’t replenished. Had a meal in the restaurant. Again not as nice as previously”
