“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“We thought the room was not worth the price. It was a bit shabby and lacked the extras with a room that price. Early evening we saw two rats outside on our patio. There was a lack of staff at certain times and this was communicated to us when asking for breakfast. The bar and gardens were lovely, they were very helpful with our food choices but the Sticky toffee pudding was not to a good standard.”

“The room was tiny & a bit grubby but most of all it was very, very hot - with no way off coming it down. The downstairs pub section was good but the food was mediocre at best. It is only a 3Star but I would say on the low end of 3 Stars”

“Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pub downstairs was nice and the staff were very friendly. They also provided a decent continental breakfast. The bathroom was small but functional.”
