Vacations Close To Théâtre Fairmount

Located centrally in The Village...close to transportation. Small, efficient hotel with friendly staff.

Everything from a to z was excellent.

Great location and unique decor with lots of interesting art and memorabilia. Arrival was a bit challenging in that there was nowhere to stop the car in front (because other cars were badly parked) and no one from the hotel to direct or help, when we arrived. Departure the next day was much better as we could stop in front to load suitcases. What we later discovered is that there is a nearby underground parking deck, a few doors to the east of the hotel and off of the same road. Less expensive ($24 per 24h) than the valet parking ($39/day) and almost as convenient. The air conditioning in our room wasn't functioning and there were no other rooms to move into but the staff did their best to help. They provided a fan unit and later a discount for our trouble, which left us feeling like we had received fair value. It would not put me off going again. The room was very nice. Dramatically high ceilings, good quality finishes and a very comfy bed. Continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. The croissants were delicious!

We were happy we upgraded. The rooms were great. The gold lounge was fabulous. The staff was very accommodating. Food was very good. The only issue we had was our bill at the end it was incorrect and it took a week after we left to receive the refund on the over charge. When I called to follow up no one called me back. It was resolved in the end, it just took time and patience waiting, hoping that it would be corrected. Thank you for a great experience at the hotel. I will certainly return. I was very happy to be there for my 70th birthday.

lovely space

Room was not quite clean — stains on bedding, ice cream in freezer leftover from previous guests, etc. Important to note that parking is not on site. Room is essentially an apartment, complete with a kitchen, washer/dryer, and a separate room.
