Tamanu on the Beach was a beautiful hotel on a picturesque beach! Food was good and locally fresh. The staff was amazing, very helpful and attentive. The fire show was exceptional on Monday night! Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent resort for relaxing. We had a ocean front villa and loved it. It is worth the additional cost to be on the ocean as the second row does not have a view. ALso, it is fun to walk the long white sand beach at low tide and see all of the coral exposed and the fun aquatic life living in the pools. The staff was lovely, happy and helpful. A driver was arranged for us to tour the island and we recommend that. There are a lot of families so if you are not into kids in the restaurant, you might not love this. There were lots of kids here so dinner could be a little noisy. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful. The chef was great and lots of selection on the menu. They have wonderful fresh fish entrees that we really enjoyed. It is about 45 minutes from the airport. The shuttle costs about $25USD each way. Lovely drivers!

We experienced a wonderful 4 night stay The bed was so comfortable. breakfast was nice. The menu's for lunch and dinner had variety. The resort is well maintained. Resort is beach front I could not fault anything

10/10 – absolutely exceptional. Our stay at Tamanu on the Beach was nothing short of perfect. The private plunge pool villa was stunning—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and offered the perfect level of privacy. The entire property is visually spectacular, with breathtaking views and a relaxed luxury feel throughout. The food was outstanding. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. What truly sets Tamanu apart, however, is the staff. Every single team member was warm, professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special mention must go to the staff for the care they showed when my husband became unwell during our stay. They immediately stepped in to help, showing genuine concern, kindness, and support. Their response was exceptional and made a stressful situation so much easier for us. Honestly, we cannot find a single fault with our experience. From the accommodation to the food, service, and hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Tamanu on the Beach to anyone looking for a truly outstanding getaway.

I would have given tamanu six stars if they had that option. The place is beautiful and location on the beach makes it very relaxing. Excellent food and wide variety for different diet options. The staff is wonderful and made us feel like family. Thank you for an amazing stay especially Alice, Isabelle, Evy and the entire staff. Looking forward to coming back one day.

The place was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and fresh, beautiful views and the food was amazing but most importantly the staff was the best part, every single one the wait staff, the cleaning crew, the drivers and the garden guys all were absolutely lovely and so friendly they always went out of there way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It was the hardest part about leaving saying goodbye to them all. 100% recommend to anyone

Beautiful location right on the beach, amazing and friendly staff that could not do enough for us. Local spots to check out, turtle sanctuary, horseriding in the mountains, fire show at the beach bar. Will be coming back to stay in paradise again soon.

Incredible oasis of a property, had everything we needed for a truly relaxing holiday. The staff were warm and friendly and very attentive to our needs, the food was outstanding. Our villa on the beach was clean, bright and beautifully designed. The location was perfect, very quiet and right on the beach with a lovely breeze on most days. The pool was ok and it’s a shame you can’t swim in the ocean too easily as it’s surrounded by coral reef, but it’s so inviting and one of the cleanest beaches I’ve seen, we will definitely be back.

This is my favourite resort out of the three we stayed at this trip. It's a very intimate feeling place ideal for couples, however, there were families staying here while we were here. The pool isn't the best of all the resorts, however, everything else was the best of the others we stayed at. The staff, the menu and fresh food options and the location are amazing however, you are a long way from shops, so make sure you bring everything with you, including snacks etc. But this will definitely be a resort we return to agin and again.
