“Booked a basic room over the weekend. Everything, including bathroom, was very clean. The bathroom door is just a sliding door (in case this is important to anyone). “Beautifully clean and appointed accommodation. Host very helpful and friendly. Only criticism is the bed is just a normal double size.. for us we prefer a bigger bed. Lovely seating area by a pond which would have been nice to sit by if the weather had been kinder! Definitely recommend . ”

“ The hotel needs a complete refurb. The room allocated to us was of poor quality and standard. There was no wardrobe hanging space for ladies dresses and no drawers for storing other clothes. The plug was missing from the bath and the taps were dripping in the bathroom sink. The positive was that the staff were attentive and helpful and the food (breakfast) was excellent. We would not stay here again.”

“Everything was fine during our stay, apart from a finding a dubious-looking piece of "something sticky" in one of the paper cups in our room (sorted out quickly by reception). There are several places to eat here. And whilst KFC, Greggs, and McDonald's aren't exactly the most appealing options, the West Cornwall Pasty Co provided a welcome alternative. Our room was comfortable, warm and very quiet. All-in-all, It made for an ideal overnight stop.”
