Chalets en Steeple Bumpstead

“Modern and confortable”

“Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? Two of us went for breakfast after 9 and was refused. Chef was only able to make a bacon sandwich. Coffee was thick and gloopy and undrinkable . “Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat.”

“Standards have really dropped. I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and”

“no hay nadie para recibirte, y tienes que contactar por teléfono varias veces para que te conteste alguien. Habitación no muy limpia, zonas comunes (baño) bien y aseado.”

“Immaculate room and very spacious with comfy big arm chairs. Bathroom was spotless too and shower lovely and roomy. Breakfast and dinners were delicious!! The pancakes came with loads of yummy bacon and plenty maple syrup! The fish and chips were plentiful, steak pie was hearty and filling! Will be back!”

“habitacion grande y comoda, buenas camas para dormir. Internet funciona bien”

“Buen hotel para pasar la noche”

“On arrival Expedia booking which I paid in advance was declined but I wasn't informed so tried to pay with amex , but they wouldn't accept it. So had to pay on alternative card. Room was hot and stuffy, there were no bath towels or shower gel. The small kettle had a very small cable which was not detachable and was a stretch to get to a socket which I subsequently burnt my hand on trying to pour a drink. No hot food in the hotel incl evening meals and sparse continental breakfast was poor”

“Great hotel”
