The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. “I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“The Hotel was great. We arrived around 8pm and did not have an evening meal but breakfast was fantastic. Room was spotless and had recently been refurnished to a high standard. Access was via a steep staircase so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The only criticism was that the hotel is located on a very busy road junction so traffic noise continued all night and many large noisy lorries using the road. “The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival. “This is looking dated. Threadbare carpets in communal areas and rooms. Mattress is hard as nails and likely been there a while. And strangely there is a lack of power sockets in rooms. Wouldn’t go back alas.”
