“There's a lot to praise at Dunston hall and you'll read about that elsewhere. I just want to point out one defect in the hope that someone at Dunston Hall will see this and take some action to prevent it happening again. We ate at the brasserie on 3 evenings and the cooking was, with one exception, very good. The exception was on the last night when one of my hasselback potatoes turned out to be bad . “The hotel room we booked was a superior double although there was nothing great about it we could have staying at a Premier Inn tbh. Bathroom was lovely though and bed was comfy Breakfast was OK as was evening meal although once again nothing special. Obviously the setting by the river was glorious”

“It was impossible to find. No one available to answer the phone on our way to the property. The staff at the campus were very friendly and security helped us find our way around the vast site, without which we would have had to abandon our stay. It’s not very well sign posted. The accommodation was clean and private. Situated in the middle of a big field with lake 5 minutes walk away”
