“I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay.”

“Check in was very slow as it looked they were short staffed as people were waiting to order drinks as well and only one staff present. The building and rooms are very tired looking and need updating. Walls between rooms are paper thin and we were next to a couple who argued all night long and you could hear everything. One of the rooms we booked (upstairs) was baking hot, the fan didn't work so we lent ours to our friend and the radiator was on full blast in this summer heatwave! We couldn't...

“The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. I mentioned it to the manager and when we returned to our room after dinner, which was delicious, the hair in the sink was gone. The...

“Perfect for a golfer in town. The staff were very pleasant and the bathroom was solid. The below average pillows were the only criticism I would have to be honest. Would return on my next golfing visit. Easy access into town. Great parking space.”
