The hotel was excellent from check in to check out. Staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was a bother to them. Breakfast was worth getting up for. Delicious and plentiful. Room was more than expected. Clean and well equipped. Great stay, superb value for the price. Recommended.

Since we last went to the Royal and Fortescue which was over 30 years ago it has had a major refurbishment. Our room was lovely, clean and well furnished. The bars were very smart and we had an excellent breakfast before departure. The staff were very polite and helpful. Our only minor complaint was the lift was out of action and we were on the third floor.

Stayed here for one night whilst on business. The hotel is lovely, the room was huge and everywhere I went was spotlessly clean. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Will definitely stay again though.

The room and bathroom were very, very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the settee helped make it a very relaxing area. I would have liked an iron and ironing board in the room. The reception and restaurant staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.

Hotel right in town a prime position only problem is can be a bit noisy with the revelers going home in the early hours. Other than that the place is spotless, nice clean and comfortable rooms good staff rate it very good.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and i cant find one reason to fault it. Rooms are fantastic staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again later in the year. We highly recommend have a carvey it was delicious 😋
