“We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊”

“Highly recommend this beautiful period property and rooms. The bed was so comfortable, views out the windows were stunning, lovely bath tub with shower. Ate dinner in the restaurant, was so fresh and tasty with beautiful views across the golf course whilst eating. The grounds are stunning. “I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“Lovely little hotel. The view from the room over the fields was lovely, and the room itself was very nice. It was very quiet and peaceful, and dinner and breakfast in the attached restaurant was excellent. The staff were also lovely. The only thing was the room was very warm (in October !) - despite none of the radiators being on. Having no air con, I'm not sure what it would be like in the summer.”

Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. “The staff were ok. The room was like going back in time. The furniture was discoloured and very dated. The bathroom was not great. Very disappointed with the breakfast. The photos show a nice continental breakfast but in reality you get some toast with jam or cereal with tea or coffee The rooms are not soundproof and we had some very loud ladies in the next room that decided to shout until 2am so no sleep for us All in all we would rate our experience a 2 out of 10 and that is being generous...
