“Despite the weather, it was lovely staying at the Stage Neck Inn, in Maine. The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. The dishes were delicious as well as the buffet breakfast with view to the sea. ”

“We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away...

“The property was old, dingy and very dated. Dirty carpets, rusted light fixtures, bed linens ripped, stained and towels were old, dirty and discolored. Everything was about 60 years old with no updates. Location was great but would NOT recommend staying here. There are 3 other updated hotels similar price next to this one.”
