“We had a wonderful stay at Glenegedale House. Emma and Graham are lovely hosts. The house and surrounding area is stunningl. We enjoyed cocktails in the evening and the breakfasts were superb. We can no longer have porridge without Lafroaig. When you stay at Glenegedale House you feel as if you're visiting family. Thank you Emma and Graham!”

“If you are looking for a place to stay on Islay that offers a comfortable and beautiful setting, complimented by great food and friendly and helpful staff, look no further. The rooms were wonderfully furnished and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident at every turn. The grounds, in particular the walk to the beach, were well done and drew us in for regular strolls. Didn't play golf this time, but have in the past . . . highly recommended. All told, five wonderful days.”

“This hostel was incredibly clean, including the room, showers, toilets, and the shared kitchen and lounge. I have stayed in hostels several times before, but this is the cleanest one I have ever experienced! The hostel managers were also kind and very warm people; they really looked after me! If I have the chance to visit Islay again, I would definitely stay here and would highly recommend it to my friends!”
