“Overall, I had a pleasant one night stay at the Walnut Tree Hotel. The room was quite basic and a little dated, but it had the essentials, including a double bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, and towels. Unfortunately, the TV in my room had no signal, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, given the warm weather, it would have been nice to have a fan in the room, as there were no facilities to help with the heat. “We had an excellent overnight stay, the staff were helpful and efficient, room clean and in good condition, the hotel public spaces were well furnished and also in good condition. Breakfast was very good, enough choice, my wife having a vegan breakfast was no problem at all, food was fresh and well cooked. Overall a great experience and we will be happy to use Holiday Inn Express again.”

“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. “Quirky place, very old and it felt like it but for what i needed it was fine. Wifi was pretty bad.”

“Very clean and cozy pod. Good wifi and all necessary amenities. Spacious grounds for children to run about. Good parking. Hammocks in shaded areas. The picture of a child on the beach made me think it was near the beach. Turns out it is not. That was a tad confusing.”

“This hotel does not have staff as you do a self check in so it is not possible to rate this part of the survey. The hotel offers no amenities, however there is a kettle and tea/coffee provided . The room was perfectly fine for one night. Comfortable and clean although needs updating and there was a bleach stain on the carpet. The room was unbearably hot. A fan was provided but it was not affective in the size of the room so maybe worth the hotel provided a second fan. Other than that not a bad...
