“The inn is steeped in history and in a remote, quiet spot. Unfortunately our room had been left with unsightly water marks as a result of a leaking roof (which has been fixed) all over the ceiling, especially above the bed, and wall. It made the room look very shabby and for the price not great value. The floating floor feels like it’s a sinking floor in some spots and you need to tread lightly. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly.”

“It was a hot weekend & the room was extremely hot. A very small, ineffective fan was in the room but it made little difference. The room in the coach house was small & looked dated but it was clean. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.”

“From my first contact at booking, the reservation staff at the Hotel were extremely helpful & I would say they went above & beyond my expectations. I had accessibility requirements & again they went above & beyond to make sure I had an accessible room which made things a lot easier. I had a good nights sleep, breakfast was good, all staff were polite & happy to help & gave me the impression that they cared about the level of service they were providing.
