Brilliant place to stay staff and owners were extremely helpful and friendly bedroom was as they said and we both slept all night . food was very good and plentiful the beer and cider too!! It was so good we stayed an extra night as breakfast was ace as well

I enjoyed my stay here the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food and drink was excellent. The staff very friendly and happy to help. I was advised a couple of lovely walks from the pub which I enjoyed a lot. Overall I had no complaints

The inn appears to be the centre of the community, can get busy in the evening, but it is good to see it thrive. Room clean and spacious. Food great, staff friendly and helpful. There appears to be a little work in progress at the moment. There is limited parking at the property but lots of free space at the memorial hall a five minute walk away. Shops can be found nearby at Yelverton or there is the market town of Tavistock. Beautiful dartmoor is also close by.

I booked a room here in an effort to escape my overbearing, mostly live out landlord one weekend and I had an amazing stay. Staff were friendly, bar wasn't clique-y at all and the food and beer was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

The inn is steeped in history and in a remote, quiet spot. Unfortunately our room had been left with unsightly water marks as a result of a leaking roof (which has been fixed) all over the ceiling, especially above the bed, and wall. It made the room look very shabby and for the price not great value. The floating floor feels like it’s a sinking floor in some spots and you need to tread lightly. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous Dartmoor Inn

A beautiful old Dartmoor Inn in a very pretty village location. Terrific range of local ales and ciders and great food. Lovely walk in shower, but needs a corner shelf for toiletries. Paintwork needs touching up in places, but, overall, a wonderful, comgortanle plce to stay.
