“I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. “The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Our sea view room was wonderful but very warm in a heatwave! There was a small fan but the window didn't open far due to safety so we did need our own additional fans. Our only recommendation to the management would be to please sort out the shower. “A lovely establishment & beautiful setting Unfortunately there is renovation work at present & it spoilt our stay, there was a small temporary gym We had a lovely room over looking the golf course, but the workmen were parked directly outside our balcony giving us no privacy at all, we had to keep the curtains pulled which was a shame.. They arrived at 6.30am & the noise woke us up each morning. I dont think these rooms should be used whilst such work is going on.”
