“I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

“Excelente lugar para quedarse, super tranquilo, todo casero y local. Un lugar encantador.”

“Habitacion limpia. La numero 5 era super pequeña no te podias mover con las maletas. Mobiliario y colchon antiguos. Cafe y te en la habitacion. Secador de pelo. Desayuno caliente servido en mesa. No tienen parquin.”

“The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Our group of 4 had excellent service and a great breakfast. We only stayed one night and wish we could have be there multiple days. The location was very convenient to explore Dunbar by foot. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.”

“Insonorización y seguridad lugar tranquilo la receccion en el pub”

“Very friendly welcome, nice clean room. Ammazzinggg breakfast so good and not greasy. Evening meals very tasty. Have stayed a few times and it never fails to disappoint. .”

“Lovely stay- very comfortable and old fashioned hotel.”

“My biggest frustration was being completely unaware that this was an unmanned facility and that we were to receive an email with access instructions within 24 hours of arrival - having spent the whole day in meetings then a drive to the guesthouse (arriving about 9pm) I was not aware of any of this. No answer on the contact phone number displayed at the venue to call in case of any issue. It all added stress I did not need. Why not communicate this information at the time of booking?”

“Absolutely lovely place! I’ve wanted to go here for a while for the pods with hot tubs and it did not disappoint! POD was very spacious, a super king bed was amazing! Very modern and comfortable. The hotel itself is really nice and in lovely grounds. We only had breakfast but it was also very good. We are looking forward to coming back!”

“Check in was not good. I traveled from a different country and needed wifi to get a code. I had to drive 5 miles to get to a friend to call the owners. The owners were in and out of service so they could only text. When i finally got the proper code. It was 5 flights of steep stairs. It should have been told how many flights of stairs to go with a large suitcase.”

“Beautiful, large rooms. Great service, and comfortable bed. Wish we had been staying longer.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Nice location, easy to find nice places to eat. Close to Edinburgh (we were there for daughters Uni tour) Will definitely return as we liked the area and close proximity to the A1”

“Colin and Lisa were superb and friendly hosts and the stay was not only comfortable and clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The breakfasts were well prepared according to taste. We were delighted with our two nights' stay there and will hopefully return soon.”

“Clean, good location, pleasant staff and overall a good stay. I am happy to recommend this hotel for a stay.”
