“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. This meant that having a shower was lethal, as was getting out of it as the floor was just lino. Generally hygiene was very poor. Outside toilets were...

“We had an excellent overnight stay, the staff were helpful and efficient, room clean and in good condition, the hotel public spaces were well furnished and also in good condition. Breakfast was very good, enough choice, my wife having a vegan breakfast was no problem at all, food was fresh and well cooked. Overall a great experience and we will be happy to use Holiday Inn Express again.”

“Breakfast could of been better but I don't think they get the custom for it to be better”

“Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand.”

“Easy to find, parking available. Clean room and lovely garden to relax in. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and relaxed. Quiet property and a good location as it is only 3 miles from Dunster.”

“Quirky place, very old and it felt like it but for what i needed it was fine. Wifi was pretty bad.”

“As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. ”
