“This is a country hotel with rooms above. Our room which were very comfortable and appropriately furnished. The rooms are well equipped with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage, a coffee pod machine and kettle with a full tray offering various beverage options and biscuits / cookies. The staff were just brilliant and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed during a particularly warm weekend and despite no air conditioning in our room, we were given two fans to cool it down. “An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I loved the garden. We highly recommend the wheelhouse for your next stay in Cornwall.”
