“The location is great and there are shops and gasoline station just beside it. There is an ample parking space however, because it is around a junction, it is better to have a parking reserve. The hotel has a small restaurant inside to dine in. At breakfast, they have a machine where you can make your own pancake. It is quiet despite a busy road nearby. “An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop. Had the opportunity to meet the owner on check-out who was also lovely. Highly recommended”

“It was a novel experience to stay in a converted jail. The breakfast was great and the service was overall very good. As a practical stay with two young kids I found the rooms to be on the small side (perhaps expected for a converted jail) and not so comfortable as a place to just unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would perhaps recommend it for a one night stay, just to try it out, but not for longer.”
