“Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.”

“We pitched up on a dull afternoon and were delighted with our room. Spacious and with a bathroom with a bath. The chef was sick so we decided having a few options to have some food in the room and enjoy the tv. A nice tray was brought up with soup and cold meats focaccia etc. All very nice in the circumstances.”

The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. “The Links Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the newer building and when we walked into our room my first response was how much I loved the colors. Our room had a view of Royal Dornoch Golf Course. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area very nice and situated to the view. The huge bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We arrived to two little glass bottles of an Auld Fashioned with shortbread—yummy! There is an espresso machine and tea service outside the rooms...

“Several heads down staff were anything but helpful. Older woman at checkin was unhelpful and heads down most of the time . Sad to see this historically friendly hotel now staffed by a number of very unimpressive people. Older women at dinner and younger professional woman at breakfast being the exception.”

The property was well priced ,finishes ,were immaculate , The property is very clean .The layout of the room even allowed for a separate seating area just outside our bedroom. This property had no TV, but was not missed because of the level of Wi-Fi available.
