“We had an overnight stop at this hotel because we couldnt find accommodation closer to the NC 500 due to inflated cost/availability. The Alnaharra Hotel was very nicely situated although it was well off the beaten track for us. We had the Teal & Blue bedroom which was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but very nice when it eventually arrived having waited an hour for it to be served. I think maybe the hotel was short staffed.”

“Right from opening the door, we were welcomed by Richard and had a comfortable cute room.. we did have twin beds but we had had a long drive from Skye with many stops so it was welcome rest. The facility had a lot of space that was available to use and many interesting books and travel magazines to use for planning and learning purposes. Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend! ”

“Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.”

“They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices.
