Punktabzug gibt es für: 1. man muss beim Frühstück extra zahlen, wenn man eine „Kaffeespezialität“ wie einen Cappuccino bestellen möchte. 2. unter unserem Tisch im Zimmer lag noch Dreck vom vorherigen Gast. 3. am Abend wurden wir an der (nicht sehr vollen) Bar nicht proaktiv bedient, sondern sind nach einigen Minuten an die Bar zum bestellen gegangen. “The Townhouse is in a great location, in a nice quiet part of town but only 5 minutes walk into town. Nice pub a couple of minutes away too. The owners were very nice and very helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and very comfortable. Great choices availble for breakfast. Will definitely stay when in Truro again”

“A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort.”

“I expected much more for the price (£250 per night). The hotel feels dated and is in need of renovation. Cleanliness was below expectations, the car park was dirty, the staff were not particularly friendly, and the breakfast quality was disappointing. The location near Fistral Beach is good, but that alone does not justify the high price. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at its current rates.”

“Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!”
