“We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. ”

“The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

“Había comida estropeada en el frigorífico, que no se podía abrir del olor tan desagradable que despedía. En el lavaplatos había cubiertos y vasos sucios. Detrás de un radiador había colillas. En un apartamento para cuatro sólo había dos sillas, y el sofá está completamente hundido. Nos dieron la llave del apartamento equivocada,tuvimos que esperar al responsable casi media hora, de noche y con mucho frío. Llegó riéndose.”

“We stayed at the green dragon a few years ago and it was great so we booked again expecting a similar experience. It has definitely gone down hill since our last visit, particularly the food and service level. This morning we left at 9:00 and other guests that had prepaid for breakfast couldn’t even get into the breakfast room to eat as there were no staff around! “It was an old building , with character. I was on 2nd floor, quite a way to carry my suitcase, lovely room with nice outlook but the floor was uneven and windows difficult to open due to the age of the building.”
