“Best breakfast and dinner. BUT old rooms whitout AC, not clean enough and very thini shower.”

“We only stayed overnight as at a wedding at Hodsock Priory, this is an ideal hotel for the venue as only few minutes away. The rooms are lovely, very clean and modern, I particularly liked the mirrors in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, good choices available and just what we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We want to go back and try the evening meals another time. Definitely recommend the hotel though.”

“Room was very clean and tidy. The staff are amazing and there is loads of available parking to use. Great quiet location. This hotel is by far one of the best I’ve being to. If you get the chance get it booked.”

“The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude”

“The hotel is modern and the rooms very clean and comfortable. We were given a room above a wedding reception but it was quiet after 11pm so no problem. Breakfast was very good, tge sausages particularly delicious. We would recommend 2 tea bags in a large teapot and the whilst the beds are very comfortable the pillows were very lumpy. Overall we would recommend for a short stay.”

“Perfectly clean room and a comfortable bed. The pub next door was excellent. Communication with the owner before arrival was non existent and I had to call repeatedly to receive check-in details, despite having sent a message via expedia chat a couple of days beforehand. However, information did come through eventually. As it is a self check in/out I had no contact with any staff members.”

“Not ideal to stop and rest with children or young ones as place i dirty with bad odour from carpets. Also was noise from pub garden as we tried to rest/sleep. There was a fan on the side bed which was not wiped or cleaned. Shower was so stiff to turn off. I asked a member of staff to help and off he went back telling us he would bring wd40 till we checked out there was nothing resolved.”
