“Staff lovely and accommodating, room was spacious, lovely view of the river, comfy bed and clean fresh bathroom. Had a lovely evening meal in the sun by the river, and breakfast was great. And all for a very reasonable price, would definitely stay again”

“The Castle is a little worn around the edges and could do with a refurbishment inside and out - paint, wall coverings, carpets, furniture could all stand a refresh (but this is reflected in the price)
Pool was nice but note there is a charge to swim or use the gym, plus a charge for towels
We enjoyed the “Full English” breakfast included with our stay, as well as a 3 course dinner during our stay”
