“Lanes to property took some negotiating but once here everything was fine. Cleanliness, Facilities, Peaceful surroundings, Superb breakfast and lovely staff”

“Excellent stay at the Red Lion. Great little pub, lovely location. Room was clean and tidy. Delicious cooked breakfast.”

“This victorian house is impressive. Very good location for finding solitude and peace. Hosts are very accomodating and friendly.”

“Really good ”

“Hotel and staff were great , food at breakfast and dinner were great , good size portions, although we were charged different prices from what was on the dinner menus , only downside was the reception was at the bar , I think it should be separate , if the bar is busy ( which it was ) as we arrived early Saturday evening you need to wait , but overall everything was great”

“Clean room, fairly comfortable.”

“Can't fault any aspect of our stay. We found service, accommodation and location to be first class.”

“Easy access with parking available at a small charge. Friendly hosts. Very clean throughout. Breakfast was delicious & bar is well stocked for a quick drink before heading out.”

“Nice place, great price and location with very friendly host.”

“Good location and a fridge and microwave in room. Bathroom was modern as was room and furnishings. Unfortunately no milks or coffees provided. The mugs were not particularly clean. The shower gel needed to be refilled. Small things but a bit of a pain! Hence the lower score.”

“Nice little find, clean rooms nice towels and lovely staff, a bit dated but all really nice”

“Very beautiful and well maintained with love, very kind people who left us our privacy which I find an essential. Superb stay.”
