“Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. “Staff was attentive and pleasant. Problems were that they ran out of basic breakfast menu items. Additionally, the property is not air conditioned and no fans were available until we requested one. The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice.”

“Pros: lovely breakfast, nice aspect to the room and comfortable bed. Staff are delightful Cons: bathroom is a little tired - mildew and taps not fully working - but workable. ”
