“The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! ”

“Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return.”

“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“Would highly recommend this property. We were made to feel welcome. The breakfast option is definitely worth it. Hot and cold drink was included. “Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”
