“Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay.”

“We stayed in the annexe which was brilliant as it was a Saturday night and there was a do on in the main place. Couldn't hear anything from the annexe and had a wonderful sleep. Place was really clean, everything you could want, tea and coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, nothing bad to say about it.”

“Staffs were helpful and the restaurant offered varied menu to suit a range of preference. Bonus was the onside free parking.”

“El hotel tiene su encanto, pero falta un ascensor lo cual cree dificultades con el equipaje para una persona mayor. El cuarto de baño necesita una ducha movible. Sólo había desayuno continental por problemas en la cocina. Creo que es caro por lo que se ofrece.”

“Great room, great food, great staff”

“The property is attractive, room was lovely and clean, grounds were appealing and we had a room with French doors leading outside with a small table and chairs outside which was great for breakfast etc. There is a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal which is a bonus if you fancy self catering. Adam was helpful and informative. Very quiet and relaxing location and perfect for visiting the area although you do need a car.”

“Lovely big clean room with extra sofa bed very large bathroom So peaceful here we went to see the birds of prey early in morning included in the stay had to leave before coffee shop was open but the staff we did meet were all very friendly room had fridge microwave toaster kettle and table and chairs great parking wish we could have stayed longer”
