Great place to stay in Cambridge

The check-in process was really straightforward, with details sent by email. The guest house is near a 24-hour car park and, while that's not cheap, it is secure so worth using. It's on the edge of a park, and close enough to the city centre to walk in. It's very close to a number of bars and restaurants so it can get loud at the weekend but we were high enough up to avoid the worst of it.

There is no elevator in the property. You need to carry your heavy luggages and climb very narrow stairs to the higher floors. If you don’t want to break your back, I would not recommend staying here. This property ran as Airbnb, instead hotel, they won’t give you changing towels after 3 days, and you need to text or call for any issues.

Affordable and pleasant

One night stay. Don’t usually go for shared bathroom options but was well kept. Comfortable bed with thick firm pillows. Cold room on arrival but room warmed quickly on switching on wall heater.

Half marathon stopover

Stayed one night as we were running a half marathon the next morning. Disappointing that there was no late check out facility or anywhere to leave bags. But the room was clean and comfortable with kettle and hairdryer.
