“Stayed in the summer with our two kids. Beautiful old inn in a picturesque little village. Tons of charm and atmosphere. Cosy bar and restaurant serving delicious food. Bed was so comfy didn't want to get up in the morning! And just a short walk down to the beach. Highly recommend!!”

“Lovely little gem. Breakfast was a nice touch. Pub on site serves food and drink. Owners nice. BUT you should have a car if you are staying here. Getting a taxi can be difficult as it is away from main town. Definitely recommend staying here.”

“Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...

“A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced.”

“Lots of parking at the rear of the pub. Food was amazing & choice of drinks. Our room was lovely. Good size, bed was amazing and en-suite with bath. The inn had a lot of character. Very quiet village so we spent the evening in the pub with other couples staying at the Inn.”

“We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again”
