The room was clean and quiet. The amenities were excellent and the hotel itself is perfectly located. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. The food in the bar was also excellent both in quality and value for money. I would recommend the hotel and the bar to anyone travelling to Exeter

Top level floors have rooms with slanted ceilings. This takes up air space and makes those rooms a bit awkward to move. The tanks up there make loud noises when filling too. May be a more pleasant stay if you book rooms on the 1-2 floor. Nice bar/brunch area downstairs and friendly staff. Near downtown.

Free Breakfast was really good. Food was hot and fresh. Staff was always available to answer questions. Our room was very comfortable and updated. Clean with daily service. A pub is part of the hotel. It was always full. No noise could be heard upstairs in our room. If you want a feel of old english....stay here. We will stay again when we come back. The price was worth the stay.
