“Lovely old coaching inn, well located for visiting the theatre at Kilworth. Delightfully wonky floors but pleasant, spacious rooms and a fan provided for the rather warm evenings. Delicious and plentiful breakfast with lots of choice.”

“Overall the room is clean and tidy. The shower is slightly moldy and some other resident of the guesthouse may sometime block the entrance of the inner car park. It would be great if the guesthouse could put more clear sign to ask people park at the inner car park instead of the outer one.”

They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!”

“The hotel facilities are good. Bed is comfy, breakfast is nice. However I was attending a conference and had a parcel delivered 3 days in advance which was received by a staff member. When asking for it, they never found it. I was chasing the staff as i had to basically tell her how to proceed (contact the employee who signed up for the package and track it down, simple!).
